Seattle Seahawks defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence earned his first Super Bowl ring after the Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29–13 in Super Bowl LX. Lawrence recorded two tackles, one pass deflection, and one quarterback hit in the victory.

Over the course of the season, Lawrence totaled 24 tackles, six sacks, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. Two of those fumble recoveries were returned for touchdowns, both coming against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.

Lawrence was a member of the Butler Grizzlies football program in 2010 and 2011. After redshirting in 2010, he made a major impact during the 2011 season, posting 69 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks while earning All‑Jayhawk Conference and NJCAA All‑American honors.

Following his time at Butler, Lawrence transferred to Boise State, where he played during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. While in Boise, he recorded 119 total tackles, 20 sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception.

Lawrence was selected with the 34th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent 11 seasons. He earned second‑team All‑Pro honors in 2017 and was selected to his fifth career Pro Bowl this season—his first with Seattle.
