Yulla Faun Vega Art Exhibition Opening

E. B. White Gallery @ Butler Community College

Sept. 3, 2026 6-8 p.m.

“Oh, my goodness, she’s incredible!” exclaimed the first guest with an early glimpse of “Flight Safety and How Not to Drown #5”, Yulla’s recent installation of Butler’s campus gallery. A diverse collection of art are crafted with various mediums, styles and energy. This artwork is centered around themes of struggle, transience and the small symbols of hope that help us all navigate through unsure times. The artist raises the question beyond the rough surface of losing a place to call home, into the existential realm of losing one’s presence in life. This collection reminds us of all that it is through small community bonds and personal care that we learn to live again. Scholarship students, this will be the first opportunity for scholarship students to get their ADMC (Arts, Digital Media and Communications) award card stamped and entry to the gallery is open and free to the public for an opportunity to pause for a deep reflection within the mirror Yulla has provided.
