Donut shop opens in El Dorado

Recently, a new donut shop called Crispy Donuts, located at 2401 W. Central Ave. opened in El Dorado.. Owner Lee Kang and wife, Ctienda, decided to open the location in El Dorado, although there are other locations in Wichita. 

Both Lee and Ctienda enjoy working in the bakery factory, because that's what they know from the first time they arrived in the United States.  

The couple opened their first Crispy Donuts store in 2023 after living in Wichita for a year. The El Dorado location opened on Monday, May 19.  

 “We just hope to be known like in Wichita; most of them didn't know we exist,” Ctienda said. “But over here, we are growing a little fast, because it's a small town, but still a lot of people didn't know about us. We start nice and slow, we want to be known a little bit, so we can get some business.”  

Crispy Donuts also offers a variety of different donuts, iced coffee, green tea, taro, fruit smoothies, coffee, Thai tea and more.  

Patrons are shop for delectable pastries seven days week! Crispy Donuts is open from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customers can stay connected by checking out their social media on Facebook called “Crispy Donuts El Dorado.”
