Football receives their first loss of the season

The Butler CC football team had their fourth match of the season at Coffeyville Community College on Saturday, Sept. 27, which ended in the team’s first loss, 28-31. 

“We could have done a lot of things better, like communicating and being more of a team,” Football Manager Kaden O’Bray said. “A big part of our loss is that we couldn’t really get our offense going until it was too late, and that was our downfall.” 

The team is currently on a two-week bye, and they are taking this time to prepare for their match at home on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. This and all future football matches will be livestreamed on the Butler CC athletics website, so if you plan on watching the game but cannot make it to the stadium, make sure to check the livestream:  https://www.butlergrizzlies.com/WatchLive/index

El equipo de fútbol de Butler CC tuvo su cuarto partido de la temporada en el Coffeyville Community College el sábado 27 de septiembre, el cual terminó en la primera derrota del equipo, 28-31. 

"Podríamos haber hecho muchas cosas mejor, como comunicarnos y ser más un equipo", dijo el entrenador de fútbol Kaden O 'Bray. "Una gran parte de nuestra pérdida es que realmente no podíamos hacer que nuestra ofensa fuera hasta que fuera demasiado tarde, y esa fue nuestra caída".
