MK Nutrition is a new drink location in El Dorado located at 2710 W Central Ave. This new location opened up at the beginning of this year.
Owner Trisha Ayers focuses on providing nutritious drinks like protein shakes, teas and energy bombs as healthy alternatives. Ayers noticed a lack of healthy options in the community and has made it a goal to provide healthy drinks.
“They give you energy but they are a healthy kind of energy like an alternative to Starbucks, ‘Rebels’ and ‘Monsters’ because they are sugar free,” said Ayers.
Ayers takes drink inspiration from Pinterest, other nutrition clubs and the seasons.
“If it’s summer you typically go for mango and pineapple, just based on the holidays and seasons I get inspiration for different drink combos,” said Ayers.
Ayers was inspired to open the business based on her passion for nutrition and the desire to help the community after working in other industries.
“I care about people, I want to help people if they have goals, to help them as much as possible,” said Ayers.
Another one of Ayers goals is to make all customers feel happy.
“Sometimes people say they are having a hard day, and I hope this could be the most exciting thing that makes their day better and that they have a good experience leaving here,” said Ayers.
Now, Ayers’ is thinking of building her own team.
“I want to possibly get people on board with me here, either college students or high school students,” said Ayers.
