This afternoon, Marc Malone, executive vice president of Academics (EVPA), notified the Butler CC campus that Canvas began to experience outages. He along with Christina Byram, vice president of Digital Transformation, explained that Education Technology (EdTech) are monitoring the situation and will notify the campus community when Canvas has resumed to normal.

The El Dorado campus will be alive with laughter in the theater and art in the E. B. White Gallery Thursday, April 16th.

Balancing academic and sports means trying to do well in school while also giving your best in your sport. For student athletes, it’s not just about going to class or showing up for practice. It’s about managing time, staying focused and making sure neither schoolwork nor training suffers.

Psi Theta Kappa Honors Society (PTK) held the 2026 Heartland Regional Convention at Johnson County Community College, Friday, Feb 20 through Sunday, Feb. 22.
