Women's soccer team goes against Seward county, Hutchinson

Soccer vs. Seward County 

On Saturday, Sept. 27, the Butler CC women’s soccer team played against Seward County Community College at home. Butler lost the game, with the final score ending at 0-1. 

Seward County scored the one and only goal of the match in the first three minutes and 14 seconds of the first half. Butler was able to keep defending them and stopping the opposing team from scoring again, but they could not overcome the lead.

Soccer vs. Hutchinson 

The Butler CC women’s soccer team had a match at home against Hutchinson Community College on Wednesday, Sept. 24. The game was left as a tie, with the match ending with a final score of 1-1. 

Hutchinson scored the first goal eight minutes and 19 seconds into the match. A little more than a minute after that, midfielder Darya Karabanko (19) scored with an assist from forward Ava Preister (16) to even out the game. The score stayed at a standstill for the remainder of the match.
