In their season opener at BG Products Stadium, the Butler Grizzlies battled Seminole State Raiders to a 1-1 draw in a match that showcased both teams' determination and grit.
During the month of February, is always a special month for black people as they celebrate Black History Month. The Black Student Association (BSA) at Butler were excited to present an occasion that would celebrate African American culture’s rich legacy and strength. One of the ideas that surfaced was a presentation to students on the history of the Negro Baseball Leagues.
The Grizzlies played the Independence Pirates this Saturday, Feb 24 at the Power Plant. The Grizzlies came off a four-game winning streak, and locker room energy was filled with confidence and positivity. They hoped to translate that confidence into a game winning result, which they managed to do so. The game was complete domination for the Grizzlies. They finished the game with a 30-point difference, 106-79.
