The Butler Grizzlies continued their impressive season with a commanding 4-1 victory over Dodge City on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex. This win boosted their record to 12-2-4 overall and 12-2-2 in conference play.
The Butler Grizzlies maintained their two-game winning streak as they defeated the Dodge City Conquistadors on Wednesday, Oct. 16. A necessary win brought their overall record back to .500 (14-14): a clear domination (3-1) every set except for the second one (25-15, 21-25, 25-15 and 25-15).
Gold Fest drew hundreds of families to enjoy a fun-filled weekend on Saturday, Sept. 28, and it was the dedicated volunteers who made it all possible. From coordinating children’s activities to managing the logistics behind the scenes, volunteers from the local community ensured that the event ran smoothly, showcasing the power of teamwork and service.
Every year for every month, there is a certain type of health awareness that ties in with a month. Domestic Violence Awareness month is held, which was first observed in October 1981. This is able to spread awareness and advocate across the nation for all to prevent and end domestic violence.

In our day-to-day lives politics surround our world and as citizens, we have the right to vote. Being 18 years old, many are eligible to make that decision whether to vote or not. Sometimes voting can be confusing because people are not only voting for the next president. By registering to vote many can vote for other elections too. By voting, you can change lives and make a difference.
The Butler Grizzlies suffered their first conference loss of the season, falling 2-1 to Kansas City Kansas Community College on Saturday, Saturday, Oct. 5, at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex. This defeat brings Butler’s overall record to 9-1-3, with a 9-1-1 mark in conference play.
